Terms

Payment in full is due by the end of the month following purchase. We offer the option to pay for your purchases or pay your account balance with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover or Check by Phone (ACH).

 

Discount

1% allowed if payment is made by the 10th of the month following purchase. This discount does not apply if purchase is paid for by credit card.

 

Finance Charge

1½% per month charged on all past due balances (18% annual rate). Accounts with balances past due will be shipped C.O.D. or credit card only. A charge of $35.00 will be made for all returned NSF checks.

 

Ordering

All orders are processed the same day they are received, stock permitting. No claims for shortages or damages will be honored unless reported within 10 business days.

Freight

Rigid Hitch Now Offers Free Ground Shipping on Orders of $99 or More!

This offer applies to orders shipped within the U.S. to the 48 contiguous states for accounts which are not past due. This offer cannot be combined with any other promotional offer unless otherwise specified and is subject to change without notice. This offer applies to select products which are in stock and shipped from our Burnsville, MN warehouse. Products which do not qualify for free shipping are clearly marked in the catalog with a blue diamond indicating shipping charges apply to those items. This offer does not apply to special order items or items which might be shipped directly from the manufacturer. This offer does not include accessorial charges that may apply to residential deliveries or deliveries requiring the use of trucks equipped with lift gates. Return shipping costs will be at the customer's expense. If you return a product that qualified for free shipping, the outbound shipping costs will be deducted from your return refund.

 

This offer does not apply to orders shipped C.O.D. or third-party billing. In some cases, Rigid Hitch, at its discretion, may choose to ship an order via UPS, Spee Dee Delivery, USPS, or Truck, depending on cost. If a specific carrier or special service (i.e., next day air) is requested, customer is responsible for the full amount of those shipping charges, however Standard Freight Terms may still apply.

 

Standard Freight Terms apply if an order does not qualify for free shipping. Those orders of $500.00 or more qualify for a freight allowance of up to 10% of the parts total on an invoice, not to exceed actual freight charges. This freight allowance will be deducted from the shipping charges at the time of shipping providing the account is not past due. Drop ship items or factory shipped items do not qualify for free shipping, but will be covered by our freight allowance program.

 

Sales & Use Tax Information 

Rigid Hitch Inc. is required to collect sales tax in those states/localities that impose a sales tax. This also includes some state mandated fees. If your business is tax exempt, please supply our Accounts Receivable department with the official exemption form from your state/locality or download the multi-state form from our website.  Refunds on previous sales tax charged can only be made within 30 days of date of purchase.

 

Return Authorization

Any item may be returned for a refund within 90 days from the date of delivery. If your item(s) is returned within 30 days of delivery our 15% restocking fees will be waived, pending product inspection. If your item(s) is returned within 31 to 90 days of delivery our 15% restocking fees will apply. All returns require a Returned Materials Authorization (RMA) number and must be shipped freight prepaid. Some restrictions may apply. Please contact Customer Service.

Products must be returned with the original box, packaging, manuals, and accessories. Merchandise must be in new condition meaning it is uninstalled, unassembled, and in sellable condition. The value of any missing hardware or other components will be deducted from the credit applied. If you return a product that qualified for free shipping when ordered, the actual outbound shipping costs will be deducted from the amount of the refund. If an item is purchased at the time of return that is of equal or greater value of the returned item, then your outbound freight deduction will be waived.

Minimum Advertised Price (MAP)

Rigid Hitch Inc. adheres to all manufacturer's requests to follow designated MAP programs and expects their customers to follow these programs as well. Rigid Hitch Inc. reserves the right to audit customers' advertised pricing to ensure compliance. If found to be outside of compliance, Rigid Hitch Inc. reserves the right to cancel any pending orders, restrict future orders, or suspend a reseller's account if Rigid Hitch Inc. reasonably believes a reseller has violated the provisions of the MAP policy; or a reseller intends to violate the MAP policy.
